Mцbius syndrome

Mцbius syndrome
agenesis or aplasia of the motor nuclei of the cranial nerves characterized by congenital bilateral facial palsy in various combinations, with unilateral or bilateral paralysis of the abductors of the eye, sometimes associated with involvement of the cranial nerves, particularly the oculomotor, trigeminal, and hypoglossal, and anomalies of the extremities. Called also nuclear agenesis or aplasia, congenital facial diplegia, congenital abducens-facial paralysis, and congenital oculofacial paralysis.
