- oxy·hy·per·gly·ce·mia (ok″se-hi″pər-gli-seґme-ə) a condition in which there is slight glycosuria and an oral glucose tolerance curve that rises about 180–200 mg per 100 mL but returns to fasting values 2.5 hours after ingestion of the glucose.
