oprel·ve·kin (o-prelґvə-kin″) a recombinant derivative of interleukin-11, used as a hematopoietic stimulator to prevent thrombocytopenia following myelosuppressive chemotherapy in patients with nonmyeloid malignancies; administered subcutaneously.
