molybdoenzyme
mo·lyb·do·en·zyme (mə-lib″do-enґzīm) any enzyme containing a molybdenum cofactor, such as aldehyde oxidase, sulfite oxidase, and xanthine dehydrogenase. Molybdenum is part of the redox system for electron transport in all of these enzymes that are currently known.
