Litomosoides

Litomosoides
Lit·o·mo·soi·des (lit″o-mo-soiґdēz) a genus of filarial nematodes. L. cariґnii is found in the pleural and peritoneal cavities of the cotton rat, Sigmodon hispidus, and is widely used in studies of filariasis.
