dodecenoyl-CoA Δ-isomerase
do·de·ce·no·yl-CoA Δ-isom·er·ase (do″də-sə-noґəl-ko-aґ i-somґər-ās) [EC 5.3.3.8] an enzyme of the isomerase class that catalyzes the shift of a cis double bond at C-2 of an unsaturated fatty acyl CoA to one trans at C-3; the reaction is necessary for oxidation of unsaturated fatty acids. Called also enoyl CoA isomerase.
