Buss disease

Buss disease
encephalomyelitis with pleuritis affecting cattle in the United States, Japan, and parts of Europe, caused by infection with Chlamydophila psittaci; characteristics include fever, labored breathing, cough, diarrhea, and neurological signs such as a staggering gait; sometimes there is drooling or a nasal discharge. Called also sporadic bovine encephalomyelitis.
